Roxy Lane Gonubie was the 13’th residential development, developed in 2014 between MG Construction (Developer) and Dalena Properties (Marketing & Sales). It featured 21 separate title units and semi-detached units.

Roxy Lane featured two types of units. A 60m², two bedroom unit which sold for R620 000 and a 80m², three bedroom unit that sold for R750 000. Some other features included were: prepaid meters fitted in all units, solar geysers, aluminum windows and a pitch tile roof. The kitchens were fitted with granite tops, washing machine points and moveable stoves that came standard with all units.

The complex has security features including a remote control access gate and electric fencing.
Each dwelling has a burglar alarm. The complex was per-approved by all major banks.

The Location

Roxy Lane Gonubie is located on Arum Road, behind the Gullsway Shopping Centre in Gonubie, East London. The townhouse development features secure, upmarket two and three bedroom units situated in a prime residential position, close to the sea and just a stone’s throw away from the shops.

Roxy Lane was of particular interest to investors as there is a continuing high demand for these units, attracting good rental income with a high return on investment. Dalena Properties & MG Construction

MG Construction and Dalena Properties have collaborated on developments for more than a decade and the Roxy Lane venture was just as successful as its predecessors.

Dalena Properties opened their doors for the first time in 1995 and today control 80% of the Real Estate market in Gonubie. They have been closely associated with the Johnson family who own MG Construction, a development and construction company specializing in the building of residential property, since 1997. Subsequently Dalena Properties have successfully marketed and sold 14 developments of over 340 residential units in Gonubie!

The successful relationship between Dalena Properties and MG Construction can be attributed to their effective methods and focus on customer service, years of experience in their respective trades in Gonubie.

Danie and Dalena Fenwick moved to Gonubie after buying a property in 1982. They fell in love with Gonubie’s natural beauty, mild weather and wonderful mix of people. They made it the vision and mission of Dalena Properties to serve the people of Gonubie with their property knowledge and 24/7 customer service.

Ed and Marilyn Johnson have also been living in Gonubie for decades. MG Construction is a family business. Ed, also a songwriter and singer can be found performing at events around the city of East London. He even wrote and recorded a song inspired by his home town itself.
